Mission/aim:

One of OSIAF's main aims is to promote the development of open democratic civil society in Uzbekistan. Being a charitable foundation, the Institute covers many aspects of a civil society. The Priorities and specific activities of OSIAF - Uzbekistan are the development of a civil society through the promotion of economic reforms and programs in Education, Health Care, Law, Culture, Mass media, Women's programs and others. The priorities of the programs and their funding are determined by the OSIAF - Uzbekistan Board. OSI - Uzbekistan supports participation by citizens of Uzbekistan in the Soros "Network Programs", which operate in over 30 countries.
